Thoughts

On behalf of everyone at St. Rocco's we would like to pass on our sincere condolences to all the family. Thank you so much for thinking of our hospice at this time. Your kind and thoughtful donations will help us to continue to make a difference to people in our community who need specialist hospice care.

From the Lane Family: My father in law & mother in law( deceased). Worked and was dear friends of Norman and Joan. When stationed at Haverigg prison you even lived next door to each other. Your friendship never waned. To the point my husband David became godson to them both. When in there company you always felt like you were part of there family. I used to so love listening to Uncle Norman and my father in law Les Lane when they reminisced about the many scrapes they got into and stories about prison life. It was an amazing honour to had a poem I wrote read at the funeral x One thing they touched little on was that wicked sarcastic and witty dry sense of humour I could listen for hours.God’s got a rite canny lad and he only takes the best. We will never stop thinking of you as it was a true privilege to be a small part in the life of someone we admire. Nd Will continue to stay in touch with Auntie Joan to as a family xx God Bless all hurting just remember he will nd er leave your heart c
